Sick Saturday
I woke up this morning with a sore throat. It was raining. I felt like shit. I drug myself out of bed, put on shorts and grabbed a glass of iced tea out of the refrigerator. I had one thing to accomplish today: pick up my bicycle from the repair shop. They said yesterday that it would be done in the early afternoon.
I traveled over to the bike shop, to be greeted with the news that my rear derailleur didn't work properly at all. My front derailleur would shift between gears but my rear did not regulate tension at all. He fixed my cables and trued my wheels. My 11 speed bike is only a 3 speed. I might just do a fixed gear conversion because I don't feel like buying another shifter. When I left the shop it was pouring down rain. Now I wasn't able to ride my bike.
After I got home I decided to sit down in the living room and fire up the old Roku and watch some television. I queued up the 'This American Life' series a few weeks back and now was the time to sit down and watch the whole of it. While I type this, I've watched 4 of the 6 episodes of season 1. I think it's a great representation of the radio show in a video form. I can't recommend this more to anyone else. It's fun, smart television for those of us who enjoy the show on PRI.
