This semester seems both slow and fast at the same time. I feel like I've learned a lot in my classes, specifically Data Structures and Algorithms. This is the first time in a long time in which I've enjoyed my math class (Discrete Math for CS) and found useful applications of what I've learned. I've taken two 1-credit hour classes and both seem like I've never been there since it only meets one time a week.
Over Spring break I finally assembled my Linux server. I'm lazy and just threw Ubuntu on it because it only hosts torrents and shares files through the house. I configured Hamachi on it (an older version) but have had trouble configuring LogMeIn on my Macbook so I can access remotely. I might use my router (WRT54G running DD-WRT) and create my own VPN instead (yay for static IP addresses).

New Project
I'm currently administrating and posting regularly to a new blog, Good Droid / Bad Droid. It's about Android-based devices. Check it out.
Cool Beans
So, if you have been around me lately or read my twitter account you probably notice that I purchased a Motorola Droid. It pretty much does everything I want plus a bit extra. I am really happy with the hardware and software. The Android Marketplace is well stocked with quality applications (although I wish some well known Apple developers would jump on the platform). The best part? I'm writing this from my phone.
iPhone 3G or wait for Android?
Well first.
So the new iPhone has some sweet features. Integrated GPS, Exchange server functionality, 3G network, plus its a sweet ass iPhone.
On the other hand, Android will be awesome. The ability to compile and install applications on my phone would be too cool. Downside, there is no known release date. I'd say at least 1 year till it's even possible to be out, maybe more. I figure I might as well get an iPhone and enjoy it (plus Verizon is pro-rating their account termination cost).
